30/08/01: Alison Bartley of Lancashire writes: I have decided to try and trace our family (being the Bartley family) and create a family tree, possibly leading to a reunion. My mother is Marjorie Bartley (nee Holling) and my father is Thomas George Bartley. I have only just started so any help would be much appreciated. Are you interested? Contact by email. 23/08/01: Adrian Hart of Bedfordshire, UK writes: I attended Manchester Road Secondary Boys School Leigh around 1966. I seem to remember some teachers' names eg, Mr Jackson (Maths), Mr Guest (Geography), Mr Smith (English). The only friends I can remember are Anthony Dean (and his brother Christopher). I was born January 1974 in Golbourne, Leigh, then fostered and then was adopted at 6 months to a couple in Rochdale. I think my birth mother was approx 17 years old.
